This series is a remembrance of beloved childhood memories and impressions, which are somewhat dreamlike. With memory, one can never be entirely sure whether something is truly remembered, or whether it has been shaped by stories retold by others, or even by oneself over time, each retelling subtly adding or adjusting elements. These still life photographs depict not exact events, but impressions, internal, emotional imprints rather than factual reconstructions. They capture fragments, moments that sparked curiosity or created a sense of realization. Playing with food appears here as a recurring, childlike gesture. It is not only a reference to memory, but also a reminder to retain the freedom and authority to play. This series was an exercise in reconnecting with my inner child, through emotive perception and the moments I remember sharing with myself early on.
